Dry skies on Flood Celebration Saturday Night
We are so thankful to our mighty God whose mercy gave us a beautiful dry and warm evening to praise HIM, hear HIS word and partake of HIS provision! And thanks to all who came to join us, both our clients and volunteers!
The Holy Spirit was alive and well as Higher Ground from Garden Community Church led us in worship --- thank you Tanya and your wonderful worship team. Your commitment to the Lord and to us on the first Saturday of each month is evident in HIS presence as we all are led in worship before HIS throne.
We again were privileged to have Rob Pickinpaugh from Grace Baptist Church present the word revealing how forgiving and forgiveness worked mightily in his life. Many came forward and requested prayer for freedom through forgiving themselves and those that had hurt them.
A blessing came after all of this as several small groups from the Bridge Bible Church served a warm meal of chili, salad, rolls and other treats. In addition our normal food distribution was also in full swing providing food boxes for those with ability to cook, non cook bags for those less fortunate and snack bags for those that are in recovery programs.
Thanks to everyone for making this another special night and we look forward to continuing to be "family" with all of you!
